The 2010 WAC Men’s Basketball Tournament will be held March 11th through March 13th at the Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nevada. The men’s and women’s tournaments will be held in the same time frame at the same site to determine the Wester Athletic Conference champion(s) for each league. The University of Nevada is the host school for the event which will be played in the 11,536 seat Lawlor Events center.
Similar to other conference tournaments, the WAC postseason tournament winner obtains an automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA tournament. The top 8 teams in the league qualify for the post season tournament with Utah State, New Mexico State, Louisiana Tech, and Nevada being the conference leaders heading into the final weeks of post season play.
