The 2010 NCAA Basketball Tournament South Regionals will be held Friday March 26th and Sunday March 28th, 1010 at Reliant Stadium in downtown Houston, Texas. Rice University and the University of Houston will be hosting the event.
Reliant Stadium is part of Reliant park and normally hosts the Houston Texans NFL football team. There is a total seating capacity of 70,000 and the stadium is located off of both I-45 and I-10. If you are not staying walking distance from the hotel, the METRO Rail runs from various locations around the city to the stadium to make parking easier. If you are traveling to Houston for the South regionals, staying in a downtown Houston hotel will put you walking distance from the NCAA tourney games. Houston will also be hosting the 2011 NCAA Final Four and 2016 Final Four.
