The 2010 ACC Basketball Tournament will be held March 11th through March 14th, 2010 at Greensboro, North Carolina. IF you are traveling to attend the tournament, you may want to consider staying in a downtown Greensboro hotel in order to reduce your travel time between your hotel and the basketball tourney.

The Marriott is located downtown only three miles from the ACC Men’s Basketball tournament. The rooms have climate control. Clock radio, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, newspaper, cable TV, in room movie and Bath and Body Works bathroom products. The hotel offers high speed internet, business center, valet dry cleaning, indoor pool, whirlpool and an ATM machine. On site is the Bistro 40 restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The 57th annual ACC basketball tournament will be held March 11th-14th at Greenbsoro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC this year. Heading into the final weeks of conference play, the North Carolina Tar Heels are not close to being in contention for the regular season title, after surprising losing 7 of 8 conference games following decent non-conference play. The Tar Heels can still make the 2010 NCAA tournament to defend their title, but will have some major work to do during the conference tourney in order to do so.

If you are traveling to Greensboro for the tourney, there are several downtown Greensboro hotels that you may want to consider for your stay. Staying downtown will put you close to the basketball as well as nearby restaurants and shopping.
