Providence, Rhode Island will be host to first and second round NCAA tournament games on Thursday March 18th and Saturday March 20th. The NCAA Tourney games will be played at the Dunkin Donuts Center hosted by the Big East Conference and Providence College. If you plan on traveling to Providence for the opening round games, staying at a downtown Providence Hotel will put you a short distance from the basketball games and the downtown restaurants and nightlife in Providence.

Buffalo, New York will be host to the first and second round of the 2010 NCAA Basketball Tournament on Friday March 19th and Sunday March 21st, 2010. The games will be played at HSBCArena in Buffalo with the MAAC, Canisius, and Niagrara being the co-hosts for the games. If you are traveling to Buffalo for the NCAA Tournament games, staying in a downtown hotel will put you closer to the basketball games and the restaurant and shopping found in town when you are not watching basketball.

The 2010 Division III Basketball Tournament will be held from March 5th through March 20th, 2010. The tournament finals will be held March 19th-20th at the Salem Civic Center and ODAC in Salem, Virginia. The first and second rounds of the tournament will be held at on-campus sites to be determined after the regular season completes. Sectional play will be March 12th-13th on campus sites before the tournament moves to Salem to finish out Division III postseason play.

Division III basketball teams are from colleges and universities that do not offer athletic related scholarships to their athletes. There are 449 member schools that make Division III the largest of the three NCAA divisions. These schools vary in size from 500 to more than 10,000 students. This year’s Division III Final Four will be held at the same location as where Dr. J and Iceman George Gervin played for the Virginia Squires of the American Basketball Association. If you plan on attending the event, there are more than 4,000 free parking spots at the Taliaferro Comlex.

Attend the Division III Final Four and Have a Shot at Winning Division I Final Four Tickets

The NCAA is providing all fans who attend the 2010 NCAA Division III championship a chance to enter to win a pair of tickets to any NCAA championship they desire to see in the 2010-2011 championship season. The package for the winner includes two tickets, air flight, and three nights of hotels. The entry forms are only available at the Division III Final Four and registration for entering the drawing will be announced at the games.
